Shanghai Hongqiao Transportation Hub holds together the confluence of all modes of transportation such as the Hongqiao Airport, Hongqiao Railway Station, Hongqiao Maglev Station, East and West Traffic Centers and Urban Rail Transport. Lighting design is focused on integration of architectural space and function by planning the light distribution, contrast, brightness, color temperature to make entire space clearer and orderly. Fortune Lighting System Inc (FLSI) worked closely with architects and interior designers to integrate the lights with the space and its texture in terms of the shapes, sizes and colors of lighting fixtures, and strictly controlled the factors impacting illumination quality to ensure the user experience such as illuminance, uniformity, color rendering and glare. Due to the operating requirements for different times, FLSI created different scenes with different illumination settings so that the users enjoy the high quality luminous environment, moreover, achieving energy conservation and environment protection.
