As the first light rail running through downtown and suburbs of Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana's new transportation system Light Rail Phase One, is going to connect Airport,  World Expo,  City Hall and the Railway Station closely.

It is also a strong embodiment of China’s friendly and mutual assistance with Kazakhstan in One Belt One Road project. The light rail project has a total length of 21.7km with 18 stations. FLSI undertook the design of facade lighting for the light rail stations, indoor lighting of the station hall, platform, corridors and entrances, landscape lighting of connecting bridges between stations, as well as the lighting for the bridge crossing Ishim River.

The choice of lamps conforms to the local extreme climates; the installation of lamps adopts fixed structure of wind and earthquake resistant; for combining lamps with architectural structures, lamps are customized to unify with curtain wall structure,  interior design style, and the forms of the bridges, making it a green, energy-efficient, beautiful and durable projects.
